What is BOTOX?

Botox� is a protein derived from botulinum toxin that is injected underneath skin in order to minimize or smooth out lines and wrinkles on the face. When low doses of Botox� are used, it actually paralyzes or relaxes facial muscles, giving the recipient a clean, smooth facial appearance. Botox� is produced by Allergan Pharmaceuticals.

What is a Soft Lift?

As we age, our faces slowly undergo the "3 Ds" of aging: deterioration (wrinkles and texture changes), descent (droopiness of the skin), and deflation ( a loss of volume). SOFT LEFT addresses the concerns of aging skin by combining the facial filler Juvederm with Botox Cosmetic. the result is a full facial rejuvenation effect that is balanced and natural looking. With the SOFT LIFT approach, aesthetic practitioners use BOTOX Cosmetic to treat upper facial lines, such as crow's feet, frown lines, and forehead lines, along with JUVEDERM to treat volume loss and folds in the mid to lower face. SOFT LIFT makes it possible to achieve a pleasing and refreshed look.

What are Gel Nails?

At Ynv Spa & Tanning we use nail basics gel nail line, we do not take off your natural nail, we do build a nail out of gel and add that to your natural nail. We use only gel, not acrylic or dental cement, as we are trying not to damage the nail as much as possible, as you only have 7 layers of natural nail to work with.

What is Micro-Pigmentation (Permanent Make-up / Tattoo)?

This is a procedure applying pigment into the dermal layer of the skin.

Pigments are made of mineral and iron oxide or organic based colorants. There colorants have been used in the cosmetic industry for years and are found in candy and confectionary and pills.

Is it painful?

Topical anesthetic, similar to dental freezing, is applied to numb the area to ensure safety, comfort and proper technique.

Procedure

Sterilized, disposable needles are used to implant desired color into the dermis layer of the skin.

What can you expect immediately after the procedure?

There will be some redness and possible swelling which will dissipate quickly, within a day or so. Applying ice or a cold compress and keeping the area moist with Vaseline facilitate quick healing.

Follow-up

A touch-up of appointment is usually recommended within four to eight weeks from initial procedure. This second appointment will perfect and detail the final look. Maintenance or re-enhancement should not be needed for 5 to 10 years.

Cosmetic Make-up Enhancements
Eyebrows
Using proper aligning techniques, eyebrows are measured to the specification of the bone structure in the face to ensure accurate and symmetrical length and arch of the brows.

Brows are then stenciled on and adjusted to suit the clients facial features. Anesthetic is applied and pigment is implanted into the dermis using hair like strokes that result in natural looking brows.
Eyeliner
Eyeliner follows the natural lash line and contours from the inner corner of the eye to the outer corner of the lash line. For a more natural lash enhancement, a thin line is applied in the lashes and along the lash line. For a more dramatic and youthful look, a thicker line is applied.
Lips
Lip liner follows along the outer ridge of the lip for a more crisp and youthful look - great for preventing bleeding of lipstick. This can also be used to camouflage any imperfections in lip size or fullness, using both the lip liner and fill procedure.

Tattoo or Permanent make-up removal and color correction

Removal

This procedure is performed in a very similar fashion using topical anesthetic to numb the area and chemical/glycolic acids to remove the pigment at the site. A sterilized disposable needle is used to implant the acid into the pigment in the dermis. This procedure is very effective in removal; however 2 to 3 applications may be necessary for best results depending on the size and depth of the area.

You can expect a healing time of one to two weeks using a healing agent.

Color correction

Most common color corrections are: brows, initially tattooed black and have turned blue, purple or green over time. These colors can be corrected by implanting a specific pigment which will blend in the dermis with the existing color to create a more natural coloring.
